A beautiful 1950 "Beat California" Rose Bowl button with beautiful ribbon and dangling football, commemorating Ohio State's second ever trip out to Pasadena for the Granddaddy of Them All! The Buckeyes finished the regular season 6-1-2, including a 7-7 tie of fifth ranked Michigan in Ann Arbor.  Wes Fesler's team scored a huge upset, defeating previously unbeaten California, 17-14, and finished the season ranked in the top five. This was significant as it marked the first time the Buckeyes had ever won the Rose Bowl.  The momentum from the win also set the stage for Vic Janowicz' 1950 Heisman season.
