Front page of the November 12, 1921 Columbus Evening Dispatch exclaiming, "STATE WINS". Ohio State defeated Purdue, 28-0, for their fourth straight win of the season. They'd finish second in the Big Ten and were led by All-Americans Iolas Huffman and Cyril "Truck" Myers.
This lot originates from the Tee Young Collection, captain of the 1924 Ohio State football team. He passed away from colon cancer in 1973. A percentage of the total sale of this lot will be donated to the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer in honor of Francis "Tee" Young.
