The Homecoming crowd of 70,000 saw Ohio State reach deep into Illinois territory multiple times, only to have the drive end on a turnover or downs. Illinois won their sixth Big Ten title and finished the season unbeaten with their lone blemish a 12-12 tie earlier in the season to Iowa State. Illinois was selected as the 1927 National Champions by multiple outlets.  Ticket is in excellent condition with a clean rip at the perforation.
