Handwritten and signed letter by 1926 All-American Marty Karow to a fan on Ohio State letterhead including the original signed envelope as well. As a fullback on the football team, he was elected team captain in his senior season. He was a third basemen on the school's baseball team which would lead to him playing for the Boston Red Sox in 1927.
He'd later return to the school to coach Ohio State's baseball team, leading the Buckeyes to four College World Series appearances and the national championship in 1966. Inducted into Ohio State's Varsity O Hall of Fame in 1979.
