Archie Griffin Signed Breakout Performance Program his freshman year against North Carolina on September 30, 1972., After fumbling and being benched in Ohio State's first game against Iowa, freshman tailback Archie Griffin burst onto the scene. He shattered Ollie Cline's previous freshman record by running for 239 yards and a touchdown as the Buckeyes beat the Tar Heels, 29-14. He won Ohio State's fourth and fifth Heisman Trophy in 1974 and 1975. He is still the only two-time Heisman Trophy winner in college football history. Archie was inducted into the College Hall of Fame in 1986 and Ohio State's Varsity O Hall of Fame in 1981.Griffin signed this beautiful piece in black sharpie, adding his #45 and his familiar H.T. 74/75 inscription. This beautifully signed program would be a great addition to any Ohio State or Heisman collection.
