Game Program from Ohio State's 18-13 stunning defeat to Notre Dame in the first version of "The Game of the Century" in 1935. The Buckeyes were holding on to a 13-6 lead late in the 4th Quarter when Notre Dame's double pass got them within an extra point of tying the game with less than two minutes to go. The kick failed and Ohio State recovered the ensuing on-side kick. All they had to do was run the clock out and Ohio State fumbled near midfield. The Irish took over and would connect on a touchdown pass to Wayne Millner in the game's final moments to complete the miraculous comeback. That loss likely kept Ohio State from winning its first National Championship as they finished 7-0 including a 38-0 dominant win over Michigan.
Program is complete, but the outside binding has been taped together. A small piece of the front cover's bottom right corner is missing. Original owner wrote statistics on the center page while keeping score.
