Archie Griffin won the first of his two Heisman Trophies as the Buckeyes upset 2nd ranked Michigan to capture another Big Ten Championship. Pac-8 Champion USC Trojans, trailing 17-10 with two minutes to go, threw a touchdown and elected to go for two and the win and were successful.  The Buckeyes finished the season 10-2 and the fourth ranked team in the country. This full ticket was graded NM 7 by PSA.
