A player gift given out to participating teams in the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship. After squeaking into the playoff by pounding Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship, Ohio State upset top ranked Alabama in the semifinal. The Buckeyes would face Oregon and the 2014 Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota, but had a big-time talent on their roster as well. Running back Ezekiel Elliott posted his third straight 200-yard game with a 246-yard, four touchdown performance. His final score iced the title for the Buckeyes in a 42-20 win over the Ducks. It was the school's eighth National Championship and the first and only for legendary head coach, Urban Meyer.
