Program from the October 17, 1970 Minnesota game and also a Program and ticket to the 57th Rose Bowl game. Minnesota was a victim during Ohio State's undefeated regular season in 1970. The NFF announced Ohio State as their National Champion prior to the bowl games being played, giving the school their sixth recognized title and Woody Hayes his fifth. However, they ran into Stanford and their Heisman Trophy winner, Jim Plunkett. He led his team to a 27-17 upset of the Buckeyes. Lot includes a Game Program and a ticket stub.
The Minnesota program is complete and intact, with some soiling evident to the cover. Rose Bowl program's back cover had crease and tape on the inside back cover where it appears there was a small rip the original owner fixed. There are staple holes visible to the right on the ticket.
