All odds were against Ohio State after an early season defeat to Virginia Tech and then trotting their third string Quarterback out there with a B1G Championship on the line.  Behind Cardale Jones and Ezekiel Elliott, Ohio State pounded Wisconsin, 59-0, to squeak into the College Football Playoff as the fourth season.  All they would do is ride Jones' arm, Elliott's legs, and go onto to defeat both Alabama and Oregon on their way to the school's eight National Championship. The Buckeyes went on to finish 13-1 under head coach Urban Meyer in his third season in Columbus.
