Vintage Howard "Hop" Cassady signed baseball program between Ohio State and the Camp Zama Ramblers in 1956. The scorecard has been filled out with Cassady safely reaching base three out of four times. The Buckeyes beat Camp Zama 8-0 behind a strong pitching performance by future Major Leaguer Galen Cisco.

Cassady was a member of Ohio State's 1954 National Championship team and was Ohio State's third Heisman winner in 1955. Hop would go on to an eight-year career in the NFL, highlighted by a NFL Championship with the Detroit Lions in 1957. He was inducted into the College Hall of Fame in 1979 and Ohio State's Varsity O Hall of Fame in 1977.

Hopalong signed upside down on the cover of the program with his full name and Hop in between and added the OSU 40 inscription underneath.
